Active Travel Hubs in Northern Ireland

An Active Travel Hub embedded in the heart of a community can help get people walking, wheeling and cycling more. We have two Hubs in Belfast and one in Derry~Londonderry. In this blog, you can find more details of these Hubs and how to find them.

Northern Ireland is increasingly facing many challenges of congestion, air pollution amid the climate crisis. Along with obesity and mental health problems.

We can help tackle these issues by providing practical local support so that more people can become active by walking and cycling.

Where can your find our Active Travel Hubs?

Belfast

C.S. Lewis Square, Newtownards Road, BT4 1HH

This well-established Hub in east Belfast has proved popular attracting people from all over the city.

It is located at the intersection of two urban greenways, the Connswater Community Greenway and the Comber Greenway.

Contact us for more information.

Cathedral Gardens, Donegall Street, BT1 2GT (next to St Anne’s Cathedral)

This Hub is located beside Ulster University’s new city campus.

It aims to work largely with students and staff, as well as local businesses to encourage more people to walk and cycle.
