About the role
This exciting and challenging role will work alongside NHS Dumfries and Galloway and Dumfries and Galloway Council in order to produce a series of site specific Active Travel Action Plans (ATAPs) to engage both NHS Dumfries and Galloway and Dumfries and Galloway Council staff through a range of activities (as identified through the ATAPs) designed to increase the number of active and/or sustainable travel journeys for commuting and business travel.
This will promote existing active/sustainable travel initiatives and engage NHS staff.
With a good standard of education and experience of sustainable behaviour change or employee engagement project delivery in a workplace setting and of partnership working with the NHS and/or local authorities, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent presentation and organisational skills and the ability to motivate and enthuse others.
The ability to develop productive working relationships and experience of leading group workshops is also required as is IT literacy. You will also be committed to the promotion is sustainable transport.
