Baltic to Bill Quay Farm

This route takes you on a great tour of Gateshead. Starting out at the Baltic Gallery, you will follow the banks of the River Tyne until you arrive at the Bill Quay.

This route uses National Route 14 to link the Baltic gallery on the South Bank of the River Tyne in Gateshead to the Bill Quay Community Farm. Mostly flat, the route features a few short hills and two short on-road sections - at the start of the ride neat the Baltic and around the AkzoNobel Factory.

Baltic is the largest gallery of its kind in the world. It presents an ever-changing diverse programme of contemporary visual art, ranging from blockbuster exhibitions to innovative new work and projects created by artists working within the local community.

This is a lovely ride along the Gateshead Quayside.
