We are a partner of Public Health Wales' national stakeholder group with representatives from a wide range of organisations including Local Authorities, Living Streets, Welsh Cycling, Keep Wales Tidy’s Eco-Schools programme and the Welsh Government.
This group is working to develop a joint programme of action to increase levels of walking and cycling to school in Wales.
Stakeholders have collaborated to produce the Doorstep to Desk, a visual resource and animation, to encourage partners to work together to make small improvements locally, for a big impact Wales wide.
Walking and cycling to school has been shown to be an effective way of increasing the amount of physical activity children and young people do each day.
