Route 169

Route Description

This route, known locally as the Scunthorpe Ridgeway, was designed to link communities together, providing better access for everyday journeys to schools, local shops and workplaces. The Ridgeway forms a spinal route through Scunthorpe, from Manor Park in the south through to Normanby Hall to the north of the town. There are plans to link the Ridgeway to the large neighbouring village of Winterton in the future.

Route Description

National Route 67 of the National Cycle Network runs from Long Whatton near Loughborough to join National Route 71 near Northallerton in Yorkshire. Sections currently open and signed in both directions are:

Route 63

Route Description

Route 63 starts at the Trent & Mersey Canal in Shobnall, the beginning of the Kingfisher Trail, and forms a junction with National Cycle Network Route 54.  The route passes via the large cities of Leicester, Stamford and Peterborough before arriving at Wisbech.

Route 52

Route Description

Route 52 starts at Warwick and finishes just west of Loughborough, where it joins National Route 6, via Kenilworth, Coventry, Nuneaton and Coalville. There are some short gaps through Coventry and Kenilworth city centres and in the suburbs of Coventry.
