Hundreds of Unilever employees dust off their bikes and trainers

Hundreds of employees at Unilever’s factory in Leeds have engaged with Sustrans on walking or cycling to work.

With a bike loan scheme at full capacity and Dr Bike, travel advice, route maps, and wacky bike try out days all seeing strong demand, employees have been eager to get involved.

“The partnership between Unilever Leeds and Sustrans is giving some great results. It has encouraged a number of employees to change the way they get to work by using more active and environmentally friendly methods and at the same time enjoying themselves.”
Richard Good, Chair - Project Pride Steering Group, Unilever.

Just thought you might like to know that the bike ride that you promoted inspired me and a Unilever friend to get our bikes out (her first time ever!).
