We need your help this Christmas

14 November 2016

Our fantastic volunteers do an amazing amount on the National Cycle Network, keeping it clear and making sure it's well maintained for the millions of people who use it every year.

At this time of year the list of tasks grows even longer and over the winter months our volunteer groups are busy replacing signs, clearing ditches and cutting back vegetation. So far this year our wonderful volunteers have given over 34,000 hours of their time.

Although they kindly give their time for free, having the right training and equipment are vital so our volunteers can make the best use of the time they spend maintaining the paths.

That's why we need your support this Christmas to help pay for tools, high-visibility clothing, new signs and training sessions.

We rely on donations to be able to spend on average £1.3 million a year fulfilling our maintenance responsibilities on the National Cycle Network.

Please donate to keep the Network open for all and well maintained this winter.
