This is a great route linking Farnham Common to Slough and Windsor.

This short route takes you from the lovely village of Farnham Common into Slough and onto Windsor. The route links many green open spaces on the way including Farnham Park and Salt Hill Park, and it crosses the man-made Jubilee River. A wide variety of birdlife can be seen along the river, including green woodpeckers, cormorants, lapwing and red kites.

From here you travel past Eton College on a traffic-free route before arriving at the River Thames. Here the route links up with National Route 4 which takes you through The Brocas, a riverside meadow along the river, and over into Windsor. The route also connects to the Jubilee River, Eton Dorney route which is a great family-friendly circuit taking in Windsor Castle, Eton College, Dorney Lake, the Jubilee River and the River Thames.
