Please be aware that Cowes High Street is a pedestrianised area. If you are cycling, kindly dismount and walk your bike through the High Street. You'll find dismount signs at each junction, which provide information about these restrictions. Additionally, please pay attention to any one-way signage along this route and make sure to cycle only in the designated direction.

As the Isle of Wight has no through-traffic.

Its lanes are pretty quiet, and it is blessed with a mild climate and largely unspoiled countryside.

Nearly half of the island is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
