About the role
At Sustrans, we are proud of our commitment to creating healthier places and happier lives for everyone.
We now have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing team of Senior Project Officers who work in local authorities across Scotland, developing and delivering active travel projects.
Working within Stirling Council, you will be helping to build a close partnership between the council and Sustrans, as well as with a diverse range of local stakeholders.
You will assist the council to identify funding opportunities and initiate and support the creation of new infrastructure.
You will also support the delivery of the Bike Life Stirling project.
We are looking for excellent communicators that have the ability to build relationships with partners and communities.
You will enjoy working independently and also as part of a team.
You will bring your experience in transport, planning, urban design or similar to the role.
So, if you’re passionate about walking, cycling and wheeling, apply today to join our Scotland team and help us get things done, together.
Interviews will take place via MS Teams on Thursday 28 January 2021.
We may close the advert early if sufficient applications have been received so please make sure you submit your application as soon as possible.

Sustrans is committed to reducing inequality, valuing diversity and enabling inclusion.
