This is an exciting role with a variety of responsibilities for the delivery of Sustrans workplace sustainable travel initiatives in the Solent area as part of Southampton City Council’s M27/M3 Travel Demand Management (TDM) programme, which provides an opportunity for permanent modal shift from the motor vehicle to more sustainable modes of travel.
You will engage with businesses and employees affected by the M3 and M27 works to offer advice on travel options and promote a range of support and incentives which will help tackle barriers individuals have to non-car travel.
You will have experience of and be passionate about sustainable behaviour change and/or employee engagement project delivery in a workplace setting and have experience of leading group workshops and organising and running events.
You will have excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills, the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships and the ability to motivate and enthuse others.
You will need excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise and manage your own workload. You will also be IT literate and committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
