About the role

At Sustrans, we are proud of our commitment to creating healthier places and happier lives for everyone. We now have a fantastic opportunity to join our team supporting the I Bike project in up to 8 schools across East Lothian, giving you the opportunity to use your passion for active travel at work!

Through you, this project will promote active travel (cycling, scooting and walking) for journeys to and from school and during leisure time, supporting staff and volunteer ‘school champions’, harnessing local authority resources and making links between schools, external partners and the bicycle industry.

 

About you

An excellent communicator, you will have experience of delivering outdoor activities and working with children and young people and partnership working within a community.

You will have a passion for being active, ideally using active methods to explore the local area. You will also have a current clean driving licence.

Clearance by the appropriate enhanced Disclosure Scotland check is mandatory for this role.
