Evaluation Manager, Research & Monitoring Unit

Sustrans is the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle. We’re looking for a creative, passionate and experienced individual who can support development and lead delivery of a growing portfolio of work across Scotland:

  • Location: based in Edinburgh
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The role

As a charity, we want to be at the forefront of impact management, not only so we know the difference we’re making, but in order to make evidence-based decisions to improve our work.

We support partners to help them understand the impact of their projects and programmes. Our insight aims to influence policy, practice and behaviour.

About you

As a member of our senior leadership team, you will have proven experience of co-ordinating across distributed teams to lead qualitative and quantitative research, monitoring and evaluation, and communicate evidence and learning.

You will be a collaborator, who can work with analysts, researchers, evaluation specialists, engineers and behaviour change experts, alike.

Your exceptional relationship building and engagement skills will help us embed a culture of insight-led practice amongst our stakeholders across the UK.
