Engineer

We are looking for a Civil Engineer who is passionate about sustainability, to help us look after our walking and cycling paths, which form part of the National Cycle Network. You will be working to achieve our vision of a society where the way we travel creates healthier places and happier lives for everyone.

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: Manchester (home working / other locations considered)
  • Up to 37.5 hours per week, happy to talk flexible working
  • £28,940 per annum (inclusive of a Retention Allowance of £1,412 pa)

About the Role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer who is passionate about sustainability, to help us look after our walking and cycling paths, which form part of the National Cycle Network.

You will be working to achieve our vision of a society where the way we travel creates healthier places and happier lives for everyone.

In your role, you will provide design and contract management support to our UK-wide Estate Management team.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in the delivery of a diverse range of maintenance work for our estate which includes over 500 former railway bridges, viaducts, tunnels, retaining walls and culverts.
