Behaviour Change Officers, London

The exciting responsibilities of this role will be to deliver behaviour change projects in a range of settings, including schools, universities, workplaces and communities, which support people to travel more by walking and cycling and to promote active travel to adults and children in the context of each project, for example, enabling cycling to school by delivering the Sustrans Bike It project.

The role

You will recruit local ‘champions’ and work with partners to develop projects and resources that respond to the needs of a diverse range of Londoners and local communities.

About you

With experience in delivering practical projects within a community-based environment, you will have previously worked with children and young people and have experience of working with a diverse range of adults.

You will also have experience of partnership working and delivering projects with competing priorities. 

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent presentation and organisational skills, be IT literate and have the ability to motivate and enthuse others.  

An understanding of issues facing communities that experience inequalities is required and you will also be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
