Will you help protect our precious wildlife?

Willow tit populations have declined by 94% since 1970 (Barnsley Biodiversity Trust). These vulnerable creatures need your help.

The more than 4,000 miles of traffic-free paths on the National Cycle Network offer a variety of opportunities for willow tits. Like the Trans Pennine Trail, where we are working to support willow tit populations by installing nesting sites.

Will you donate now to help save our precious wildlife?

You can help to maintain and protect spaces like the Trans Pennine Trail across the National Cycle Network

Find out more about the importance of the Trans Pennine Trail for willow tits.

Donations can also help restore and maintain hedgerows and species rich grassland verges, encouraging insects for birds to feed on and a variety of other foods sources.

Let’s make sure these vulnerable creatures have the food and safety they need.

Yes, I'll protect wildlife.

  • £20 could buy the tools required by our volunteers to properly maintain and restore the land around the paths on the National Cycle Network.
  • £40 could help pay for the specialist knowledge from ecologists to ensure the longevity of our work.
