Sustrans wild garlic family bike ride, Surrey

See – and smell – beautiful wild garlic at the foot of the North Downs on a bike ride along National Route 21 through beautiful countryside north of Redhill.

Led by local Sustrans volunteers, this is a bike ride everyone can enjoy with a refreshment stop at The Inn On The Pond in Nutfield.

Everything you need to know

Date: Monday 6 May (Bank Holiday Monday).

Time: Meet at 10.30am for an 11.00am start.  We'll return about 14:15pm.

Meeting point: Redhill Station Car Park.

Route details

  • About 12 miles, mostly off-road with a few short sections on quiet roads (not suitable for road bikes)
  • It is scenic and undulating with a few short hills - no one will get left behind
  • Wear suitable clothing for the weather and something to drink.   Wear sunscreen if necessary
  • All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
