Our Community Active Travel Programme is about encouraging people across Belfast to walk and cycle more as part of everyday life. Over the next three years, we will work in partnership with communities from 12 Council wards across the city.

The programme is funded by the Public Health Agency and together with partner communities, we will plan activities which will both encourage and enable all kinds of people to become more healthy and happy citizens.

In our first year, we will be working with community groups from Ballybeen, Inner East Belfast, Inner South Belfast (Donegall Pass and Lower Ormeau).
