Route 68

National Route 46National Route 68 of the National Cycle Network is known as the Pennine Cycleway, and runs up the spine of England and through three National Parks between Derby and Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Open Sections: The route is open and signed and split into three main parts:

Derby to Holmfirth is the Pennine Cycleway (Peak District)

Holmfirth to Appleby-in-Westmorland is the Pennine Cycleway (South Pennines)

Appleby to Berwick-upon-Tweed is the Pennine Cycleway (North Pennines)

Holmfirth to Appleby-in-Westmorland is mapped on the Sustrans NN68B Pennine Cycleway South Pennines and the Dales map.

Appleby-in-Westmorland to Berwick-upon-Tweed is mapped on the Sustrans NN68 Pennine Cycleway North Pennines map.
