Route: Belfast to Ballyshannon via: Lisburn, Portadown, Armagh, Dungannon, Cookstown, Omagh, Enniskillen, Belcoo.

Distance: 231 miles. Map shows 242 miles of route, of which 23 are traffic-free.

Ireland's first coast to coast route begins in Whiteabbey following a largely traffic free route to Lisburn. Highlights include the cathedral city of Armagh, the market towns of Dungannon and cookstown. The route then passes over the remote Sperrin mountains and stone age allignments such as those at Beaghmore. Onto Omagh through quiet roads to Enniskillen and on towards Ballyshannon and the Atlantic Ocean.
