Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Route
Route: A circular route around the Yorkshire Wolds
Distance: Circular route is 146 miles. Map shows additional linking routes.
Probably best ridden in a clockwise direction. Beverley and Malton, both with train stations, make good start points, or cycle from York via Stamford Bridge (National Route 66).
The route goes west from Beverley to Market Weighton and Pocklington, as far north as Malton, across to Bridlington in the east and then back through Driffield, passing through 47 East Riding towns and villages. It takes in grand country houses, nature reserves, historic priories, and some of the region’s most fascinating landmarks. The route uses existing and newly created parts of the NCN, and new signs have been placed throughout the route.
