Marple and Stockport, Goyt Valley connection

This scheme will create a beautiful new route and bridge over the River Goyt which will link one side of the valley with the other and connect together the paths and routes that have been built over a number of years.

The valley is deep and tree-lined and this picturesque, rolling countryside is a world apart making it an ideal escape for local residents from the large urban areas which lie just a few hundred yards away.
