Kim joined Sustrans in June 2009
I can't remember life without a bike. I grew up in mid Wales where a bike was the only way to get around if you wanted any kind of freedom. I cycled my way through university and then cycled my way to work. Alongside cycling I love the outdoors especially mountaineering and camping. At home I spend a lot of time on my allotment and to relax I enjoy crochet, yoga and crafty things.
Before Bike It, Kim's interest in all things environmental influenced her choice of degree: Ecology. Kim then trained to teach, and thinks that Bike It is perfect as it enables her to combine her love of cycling with education and environmental awareness. Kim has taught in primary schools and in further education.
