Roxane joined Sustrans in October 2011
Previous to her Bike It role Roxane had been working with schools in delivering many extra curricular activities; Dance, Games, Drama, Behaviour Mentoring, Running After School Clubs and Capoeira lessons, as well as training school staff in delivering outdoor games sessions. Roxane had been volunteering for the Bike It School Mark before starting, giving her previous experience and knowledge of the Bike It Program. She has also trained and worked as a personal trainer forming her own company in Bristol.
The Bike it officer role combines my main passions; Promoting physical activity, sustainability and raising awareness of eco living, I like to cycle everywhere and anywhere, when I am not working or training I enjoy growing my own vegetables and volunteering on eco builds.

What's Roxane up to?
I have just started in Cardiff with 24 schools which looks to be a very busy year ahead! I look forward to influencing the cycling culture within the school communities, and hope to support the schools development and understanding, so that cycling is seen as an empowering, healthy, environmentally friendly and obvious travel choice for all.
