What are Sian and Gwen up to?

The Bike It project has now been officially launched on Anglesey with an event at Ysgol Corn Hir, Llangefni. The event was attended by Ieuan Wyn Jones, AM, Anglesey county councillors Mr Goronwy O Parry MBE and Fflur Hughes. Isle of Anglesey County Council staff and local volunteers also attended the event which saw 66 children bring their bikes, decorated to a Christmas theme.

We are on our way to signing up 12 schools to be Bike It schools on Anglesey, with help from the local authority staff, and of course the schools themselves. Schools which are already involved have started on the right wheel and we are already seeing more pupils cycling to schools on the island.
