Luton / Dunstable

This project focussed on a local route known as The Marsh Farm Loop that branches off the National Cycle Network through Marsh Farm Estate and goes on to the ancient Great Bramingham Wood (a site of designated scientific interest) then passes Wauluds Bank, a Mesolithic camp dating back to 3000 BC.

The Artists:

Artist Isabella Lockett was appointed to carry out research and consultation with schools to develop the project. John Hegley the famous local poet ran workshops at Wauluds Bank Primary School to develop text to complement the main work. Michael Pinsky was later selected to create a virtual reality piece in conjunction with artist Susannah Oliver and students from Lea Manor School.
