New cycle parking has been installed in the central area of the University.

December 2008 - Cycling Scotland ran a successful commuter cycle training to boost confidence among new and returning cyclists.
Upcoming events
Over the next couple of months the initiative will be focussing on:
- an audit of routes between Pollock Halls of Residence and Kings Buildings
- mapping walking routes and development of support materials for walk leaders
- training staff and students as cycle instructors and walk leaders
- providing 'Cycling with Confidence' training for staff and students.

Active Travel Scotland works in partnership with Paths to Health and Cycling Scotland to encourage students, staff and visitors to the University to travel in ways which will benefit their health, well-being and the environment.
By implementing and developing a range of innovative strategies the initiative aims to increase walking and cycling levels to, from and around the campus.
