- Leeds loan bike scheme expands across universities - UTravelActive's velocampus loan bike scheme has almost doubled the size of it's fleet to 350 bikes. These will be loaned out during freshers week in September. Download press release (pdf).
- UTravelActive held lots of events during Bike Week in June, including bike breakfasts for staff at the University of Leeds and Leeds Met, a stall in Leeds town centre with a fleet of alternative bikes for the public to try and 'carbon assemblies' at local schools.
- Work is now underway for the canal towpath improvements which will provide a link from the Kirkstall Brewery Leeds Met halls of residence into the Civic Quarter campus.
