Central Lancs - Out and About

Out and About run led health walks, led cycle rides and special events throughout the Chorley and South Ribble areas of Lancashire. Walks and rides are designed to suit all levels of fitness and ability. The project is coordinated by Cycling Projects, a cycle initiatives charity with a focus on health improvement, disability access and social inclusion.

Family Cycle Rides

Join us on our fun and family friendly bike rides, which take place every Saturday morning in South Ribble. Meet at 10am at Worden Park cafe. No Bike, No Problem! Out and About can provide you with a loan bike so that you can take part - please ring us in advance to book your bike.

Health Walks

We coordinate a range of health walks in partnership with Chorley and South Ribble Borough Councils. Walks are 1 hour long unless stated. If you would like to join one of the walks please contact Donna on: 07971476721 for further information

Wheels For All

The WFA centre at Tatton Recreation Ground, Chorley, offers cycling opportunities for people with disabilities, and those looking to increase their cycle skills and confidence.  A range of alternative bikes are available including quads, tricycles, hand cycles, and wheel chair bikes. If you are interested as an organisation, group or individual please ring to book a time.  The centre is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
