The following are examples of best practice active commuting and workplace travel plans in the UK.
Several examples of good practice, including NHS case studies, have been featured in the Healthy Travel newsletters and Safe Routes to Healthcare information sheet produced by Active Travel. The Addenbrooke's Hospital case study was featured in The Network (Issue 2).
Sustrans and the Government Office for the South West established a "Learning Set" with a group of Primary Care Trusts in South West England, to identify the specific problems they face in implementing their travel plans, and to seek solutions - see the Primary Care Trust - Travel Plan learning set page.
