This splendid family friendly circuit takes in Windsor Castle, Eton College, Dorney Lake, the Jubilee River and the River Thames.
Easily accessed from railway stations at Slough and Maidenhead (Paddington) and Windsor and Eton Riverside (Waterloo), it is ideal for those looking for a day out from London.

Before starting it is worth getting hold of the Jubilee River cycle leaflet which shows the whole of this route together with the various ways in which the circuit can be lengthened or shortened as desired. It also shows the link routes from Slough and Maidenhead stations, each about 2 miles in length.
The Jubilee River is a seven-mile long man-made flood channel running between Maidenhead and Windsor. It provides a haven for fish, birds, animals and people including the Dorney Wetlands, an area specially created to provide a superb breeding and feeding habitat for many bird species. A well-surfaced 3-metre-wide path follows its entire length, with most of this being available to cyclists.
