Tees Valley |
New sections of route are to be constructed along the North bank of the River Tees. These sections will form part of the 8 Bridges route which will eventually provide a circuit of traffic-free routes between Stockton and Middlesbrough taking full advantage of the regenerated riverside development, linking leisure facilities and nature reserves. A revised route through the centre of Redcar has recently been opened. NCN1 now runs from North to South through the centre of the town running past the racecourse.
