This short, family friendly ride starts from Ingrebourne Hill and heads along the Ingrebourne Valley, through Hornchurch Country Park and finishes at Upminster Park.

Ingrebourne Hill has around five miles of walking, cycling and horse-riding trails, as well as a picnic site and two play areas. Catering for cyclists of all abilities, there are leisurely routes as well as quicker trails with jumps. 

From there, the route follows the Ingrebourne River north and is almost entirely traffic-free all the way to Upminster. As you approach the towns of Hornchurch and Upminster on route, stay on the riverside until you reach Hornchurch stadium, where you then turn right towards Brookdale Avenue and Upminster Park.
