This ride is a 10 mile circular route for cyclists and walkers, using part of National Route 1 and the Norfolk Coast Cycleway (regional route 30). The route starts in the delightful fishing port of Wells-next-the-Sea and passes through beautiful countryside before returning you to your starting point.
Attractions include the Holkham National Nature Reserve and the Holkham Estate, which welcomes visitors by bicycle. Secure bicycle racks can be found in the Pottery Yard next to the Stables restaurant and the Pottery shop. You could also take a boat trip to nearby Blakeney Point, home to a colony common and grey seals. While Cley Marshes, one of the best birdwatching sites in Britain, is not far away.
