Linking Bletchley to the ancient market town of Leighton Buzzard, this route follows the Grand Union Canal towpath. The path, which can be narrow in places, is shared by cyclists, walkers and anglers and offers a great way to enjoy the delights of the canal system. The route is also never far from the River Ouzel, which meanders alongside the canal for the length of your journey.
Bletchley Park, the site of secret British code-breaking activities during World War II, is worth a visit. The route also passes near Stockgrove Country Park which has 80 acres of parkland including ancient woodland, meadows and heath.
