Route development

National route 13 National route 51

Lowestoft has become a major focus of attention in Suffolk with TravelSmart getting underway and aspirations for Lowestoft to become a Cycling Demonstration Town. However work has been going on across the county with Suffolk doing particularly well in terms of school links projects, including work in Halesworth, Ipswich and Newmarket. The completion of the signing of National Route 51 between Felixstowe and Bury St Edmunds means that attention can turn to signing other routes, including National Route 13 through Bury St Edmunds and a potential new route through Southwold.
