We work with a range of corporate partners to help us achieve our goals of inspiring more people to get out and about by foot, bike or public transport. If you’d like to partner with us please get in touch.
Funded by the People's Health Trust using money raised by 51 society lotteries through The Health Lottery, Sustrans with additional local partner match funding is empowering communities to re-claim their streets and public spaces.
This is achieved with hands-on community engagement that inspires local people to take collective control of their neighbourhood.
Wiggle have launched a new service, Wiggle Legal, designed to help cyclists back on their bikes and quickly as possible should they be involved in an accident. All profits that Wiggle generate from successful claims will be donated to Sustrans in support of the National Cycle Network.
Beyond this new venture, Sustrans and Wiggle are committed to working together to get more people out and about enjoying the National Cycle Network whether on foot or on bike.
Since 2010, leading cycling holiday company, Saddle Skedaddle, has been raising vital funds to help maintain the National Cycle Network. Their most recent contribution for 2014 has seen the total donation reach close to £22,000.
Every year, the company donates five pence for every mile cycled on a National Cycle Network route during one of their holidays. For the past four years, Saddle Skedaddle have generously subsidised guided bike rides along the National Cycle Network, enabling participants to raise sponsorship for Sustrans.
This year we're asking our supporters to join us and Saddle Skedaddle on our Lands End to John O’Groats ride.
The money raised helped us launch Sustrans Superheroes in schools, with 30,000 children receiving activity packs.
As sponsors of Bike to School Week 2014, Halfords helped us get the message out to schools across the UK about Bike to School Week and encourage them to support their pupils to travel to school on their bikes that week, and beyond! Find out more about how we inspire children every day through our work with schools.
We've teamed up with sustainable banking pioneers Triodos. For each savings account opened with Triodos Bank with a deposit £100 or more, they donate £40 to Sustrans.
Triodos only finances organisations that actively do good. Which means our supporters' savings won't be funding harmful industries, instead they'll help make real, positive social change – funding renewable energy, organic farming and recycling initiatives - and positive social change is what we're all about here at Sustrans.
We’ve teamed up with Ecotricity, one of the top three in Which? Magazine’s Energy Consumer Satisfaction Survey 2016. For every new electricity account opened by our supporters, Ecotricity will donate £40, and £20 for gas and £60 for dual fuel and their home will be fuelled by 100% Green Electricity and completely frack free gas.
