Volunteer in Scotland

Sustrans Scotland volunteers help promote the NCN, attend events, organise rides and fundraise

We support our ever-growing team of volunteers, who not only help keep the National Cycle Network in good shape, but also help promote our work, attend events, organise walks and rides, and encourage active travel.

Roles on the National Cycle Network

As a Ranger, Signing Champion or Wildlife Champion you will help maintain and enhance our Network.

Roles in the community and workplace

Our Active Travel Champions encourage and inspire people to walk or cycle.

Roles in schools

As an I Bike volunteer you will inspire young people to cycle and to travel sustainably to school.

Please note our volunteering is available to over 18s only, unless otherwise stated in the vacancy.

All our volunteers in Scotland are invited to our Annual Volunteer Day. To see pictures of last year’s event please click here.
