Route 536 of the National Cycle Network is a short traffic-free route from Northampton town centre along the River Nene.

This traffic-free route connects local residents to the town centre and surrounding green space.

Route 536 takes an off-road path along a picturesque area of the River Nene. It starts from National Route 6 at Becket's Park and joins Upton to the west of the town centre.

The path has links off to Nene Valley Retail Park, Sixfields Leisure Park, Briar Hill and Norbital - an 18-mile circular cycle route around Northampton.
