Our new website features a new online map of the National Cycle Network and other routes.
Finding route information
- Find details about our suggested easy rides, challenging routes and numbered routes by browsing the mapping
- When browsing the map click on a route for more information
- Use the search tools to find a particular route name or number; or find your town, village or postcode
Commenting on routes
- You can now add your comments to our route pages
- Post your experiences of using a particular route
- Share your advice for other route users on places to visit, to stay, to eat or drink
- Let us know if you have suggestions for us to add to the route description
Sharing routes
- You can copy and share a link to the map you're viewing at any time using the link icon in the top right of the map
- We no longer offer route drawing and saving functionality – if you previously created routes you will soon receive a copy of the routes you’d saved to use in Google Earth or Maps
Mobile application
- We have stopped supporting our National Cycle Network apps for iPhone and Android. They will continue to work but lack the online features (search, saved routes, new data) - we recommend you try the CycleStreets app
- In 2013 we are investigating improvement to our mobile web service which will include working on our online mapping
Reporting an issue
- Please let us know if you discover any issues with our online mapping or route information
