Route 75

National Route 75National Route 75 of the National Cycle Network connects Leith with Portavadie via Edinburgh, Glasgow and the ferry between Gourock and Dunoon. Another branch of the route will head south from Gourock to Ardrossan.

Open Sections: The route is open, signed, and mainly traffic-free between Leith and Gourock as the Clyde to Forth cycle route.

Dunoon to Gourock is open and signed on roads. Caldedonian MacBrayne operate ferries between Gourock and Dunoon and between Portavadie and Tarbet (Loch Fyne) from where it is a short cycle ride to join National Route 78.
