Interested in using your property skills and experience for something a little different?
Railway Paths Limited (RPL) is the sister charity of Sustrans – the charity that makes it easier for people to walk and cycle - and together we have a large nationwide land and property portfolio used for developing the National Cycle Network (NCN). The portfolio includes both urban and rural land and premises occupied by both charities throughout the UK.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our estates team and play a leading role in the management of the land and property portfolio owned by Sustrans and RPL. They will provide property advice and technical expertise to support business objectives.
You will be a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and have substantial experience of estate management of predominantly landed estate, including lettings, sale and development processes. You will have strong influencing and negotiation skills and have up to date knowledge of property, landlord and tenant and planning law and practice. You should be able to direct staff and capable of working on your own initiative. An interest in sustainable transport would be an advantage.
