Group co-ordinator - Rhondda Cynon Taff

(ref SGR047)

Become a group co-ordinator and help to co-ordinate your local Sustrans volunteer group. You will work closely with our volunteer rangers, staff and partners to help maintain and promote the National Cycle Network (Route 8,47, 78, 881. Taff Trail, CelticTrail, Cynon Trail, Rhondda Fach) and put it at the heart of the local community. You will also work with our volunteers and staff to help promote Sustrans' other projects which encourage and support people to travel in ways which benefit their health and the environment.

Communication is a big part of this role, as well as making volunteering fun for all locally. You'll need to help your group use their skills and interests so they can really get involved.

The local group needs setting up and there are currently 15 volunteers in the area who have different levels of activity.

For more information contact your local Volunteer Co-ordinator, Tim John on volunteers-cymru@sustrans.org.uk or 02920 650 602.

To apply please complete and return the volunteer application form. (doc)
