Group co-ordinator - Penwith
Become a group co-ordinator and help to co-ordinate your local Sustrans volunteer group.
You will work closely with our volunteer rangers, staff and partners to help maintain and promote the National Cycle Network (from Lands End to Hayle) and put it at the heart of the local community. You will also work with our volunteers and staff to help promote Sustrans' other projects which encourage and support people to travel in ways which benefit their health and the environment.
Communication is a big part of this role, as well as making volunteering fun for all locally. You'll need to help your group use their skills and interests so they can really get involved.
The group has recently taken on some new volunteers so it is an ideal time to get them together and see how individuals will be involved in the future months. You will have support from local Sustrans staff and volunteers to guide you in your role.
For more information contact your local Volunteer Co-ordinator Katie Aartse-Tuyn on volunteers-uk@sustrans.org.uk or phone 0117 915 0110
