Group co-ordinator - Frampton to Elberton

Become a group co-ordinator and help to co-ordinate your local Sustrans volunteer group.
The Frampton to Elberton area volunteer group has a vacancy for a group coordinator. There are a number of enthusiastic active volunteers within the group but the group is currently missing a coordinator. In the past the group has organised clear up days along the local routes, signing rides and organised stalls at local events to promote the local routes and Sustrans. We are looking for someone to fill this role who wants to get the group together again and organise some dates in the diary for the months ahead.
You will be involved with our volunteer rangers, staff and partners to help maintain and promote the National Cycle Network and put it at the heart of the local community. You will also help our volunteers and staff to promote Sustrans' other projects which encourage and support people to travel in ways which benefit their health and the environment.
Communication is a big part of this role, as well as making volunteering fun for all locally. You'll need to help your group use their skills and interests so they can really get involved.
