Volunteer rangers - Tunbridge Wells to Ashford

Volunteer rangers needed along the popular National Route 18, which connects Tunbridge Wells, Goudhurst, Tenterden and Ashford. If you are local to these areas and would like to get involved, please get in touch.

As a volunteer ranger you will become the eyes and ears for Sustrans and our many partners.  We'll rely on you to check your section of route regularly, dealing with minor problems yourself and reporting major problems so they get dealt with rapidly. You will join your local volunteer group and work alongside other rangers in your area, taking part in group activities such as workdays, signing rides and attending local events on Sustrans' behalf.

If you are interested in helping to look after a section of National Route 18 between Tunbridge and Ashford, you will join our existing group of rangers who are all individually active in helping maintain the route. However, they need more rangers to join them in covering this long stretch and also help create more opportunity for group activities.

For more information email volunteers-uk@sustrans.org.uk or call 0117 9150110.

To apply please complete and return the volunteer application form.
