Group co-ordinator - Hastings and Eastbourne

(ref SGR067)

Become a group co-ordinator and help to co-ordinate your local Sustrans volunteer group.

You will be involved with our volunteer rangers, staff and partners to help maintain and promote the National Cycle Network and put it at the heart of the local community. You will also help our volunteers and staff to promote Sustrans' other projects which encourage and support people to travel in ways which benefit their health and the environment.

Communication is a big part of this role, as well as making volunteering fun for all locally. You'll need to help your group use their skills and interests so they can really get involved.

The local group has some very dedicated volunteers who are looking for someone to identify and utilise the individual strengths of existing volunteers leading them forward to become a strong active group, involved in looking after local cycling routes as well as organising a variety of activities to promote Sustrans and the benefits of cycling and walking.

For more information contact your local Volunteer Coordinator, Laura Slater on volunteers-uk@sustrans.org.uk or 0207 0172356.

To apply please complete and return the volunteer application form.
