Active Travel Champions

We are looking for volunteer champions who can help people be more active through walking or cycling more for their everyday journeys.
This role is part of an Olympic Inspire marked volunteering project as active travel is being heavily promoted by the games and is playing a key role an making the games a sustainable event.
As a champion you can select which volunteering activities you organise or take part in. These activities include:
- Holding an information stand
- organising group rides or walks
- create an information display
- arranging travel advice clinics
- giving talks Setting up bike user groups or walking groups
- or, if you have your own ideas for activities the champions support team can work with you to develop them.
Time commitment:
As a champion you are required to organise a minimum of one activity every two months and to log the activities you organise on the Champions website.
