Media volunteer - Colchester and Tendring
Help promote Sustrans by co-ordinating events media coverage for your local Sustrans volunteer group. Sustrans will be able to keep you up to date with the latest details about promoting Sustrans, and will be able to advise on writing and distributing press releases.
You can use your local knowledge and give a valuable personal angle to local media. Quotes and case studies of local people often improve chances of articles being published. Or you may occasionally be asked to take part in local radio or television interviews about Sustrans’ work.
You’ll also be in the ideal place to tell the local media about the activities of the volunteer group to recruit new volunteers, advertise for participants, or praise the volunteers’ efforts.
